For Fiber/Grain/Silage Hemp

Sow seeds approximately four inches apart, depending on the size of your growing space, equipment and seed strain. If you have good irrigation and loose soil you can plant seeds at a depth of around 1/2 to 3/4 inch. For dryland farming you want to plant a little shallower at approximately 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. Try to plant right before or after rain so that soil will be damp.  Aim for 15-inch to 30-inch rows at a rate of 15 to 35 pounds per acre.  Fiber hemp strains are generally tall with thin stalks, hence the ability to plant more seeds per acre. Some of the fiber hemp strains can reach as tall as 15 feet!
